1455729	2018-11-20 01:03:00	When you run the Media Creation tool you have the options to change. If you use its defaults it will download what ever version its being run from. Untick the check box and you can then change to what you want. 9145 9146 The link to the techworld :eek::eek::eek: NO NO NO NO------ No wonder you're having problems. 9147 9148 get it directly from Microsoft. www.microsoft.com wainuitech.thanks............ No AV installed yet but I do that in a minute. No other HDD connected apart from one of my 3 4TB External HDD's. What a rigmarole it was to get it installed :D I will tell you about it to give you a laugh and most likely raise a few eyebrows and elicit sighs of despair for me :D As I said I didn't have a DVD 9 or a 8GB USB flash drive. After the past disasters installing to the upgraded and corrupted Todo Backup of the 80GB HDD W10 v1803 I wondered how the hell I gonna get the job done of installing the v1809 to the 1TB drive with no other HDD connected to computer. Well as luck would have it my neighbour arrived and she has 3 x 32 GB USB drives I let her take home one at a time with movies or music on them. She had been away for 4 days and her teenage niece was sitting the dog and house minding...hahahahha. Neighbour went to get me a 32GB USB drive and came back spitting fire!!!! Her niece had taken her 500GB USB HD, The Xbox and games and every USB Flash drive available!!!! So much for luck huh....so that was me fuming!!! I had to resort to attempting the only thing I could think of : Connect up the 1TB HDD, meaning I had the 1TB and the 80GB HDD's connected, reboot, connect the 4GB external with the todo Backup of 1803, install that to the 1TB HDD, transfer the Download of the v1809 to the external HDD, shut down, disconnect the 80GB HDD leaving only the 1TB and the 4GB external drives connected...…. get into the v1803 on the 1TB HDD, go to the external drive,,,extract the v1809 ISO and set that to install, choosing option to Save nothing of the v1803 on the 1TB HDD...……. two hours later, here I am in the 1TB and logged into my Press F1 account. Here is the final laugh and its a ripper..... when I opened Edge and went to Press F1 and tried to log in it said the password was wrong (again) and I was spitting nails..... I composed a lengthy message to Admin about the issue/s and then saved it to ext hdd and shutdown, disconnect the 1TB and connect the 80GB and boot into that so I can send the message to Admin.. and had the brainwave to check my saved sign ins for emails/etc and I see the sign in for Press F1 is NOT the one I was using to try to get signed in...Shut down and do all the disconnect/reconnects again and get back here and get signed in to my Press F1 so I can tell you this hilarious tale :D ……..just as well I didn't send the message to Admin... I would have to be going down on bended knees with more than cap in hand!!!! Just for the final bit of hilarity, here is the message I had composed: I am well annoyed now! This is the 3rd time I have had to contact you and I have not had an answer. I cannot log into my Press F1 account. I have just installed Windows10x64 Pro v1809 to my computer and I cannot sign into Press F1 again! I enter my login name and password and it says I have enter wrong user name or password. I then try to register and get told that my user name is already in use!! and I try to get the password and get directed back here again to contact you. I had all this to go through last week. I had w10 v1803 installed and no matter what browser I used I was told it is not me. Login in always bought up the user name kiotii (2 letters i at the end and not 1 letter i) and the password for that and If I could not log in and was told I am using someone else's account and I couldn't read my posts or comment. I had no permissions to do anything!!!! Hardly surprising because that user name kiotii I had used years ago and I no longer use that now and how the hell it was brought up in a new installation of W10 v1803 in a new FFox browser and any bowser just has me dumbfounded. I have requested that Admin Delete that account because it is defuct for years. The email address to send the reset code to I cannot access because (I have already stated all this in my previous messages to you last week but I do it again) because about 3 year ago when my computer was hit with the Gandcrab2 Ransomware virus I had to wipe my computer clean and also at that time every gmail account I had for email was inaccessible and for me to get a password reset code it would be sent to a backup email address I had suppled to Google and that password for all my 'backup email accounts was the same for all' so I was stuffed. Now what the heck is going on with my not being able to log into my Press F1 account in a brand new installed 5 mins ago Windows 10 x64 Pro v1809 computer system and I am using the Edge browser?????? I have another HDD in this computer and that has windows v1803 installed and I can log into my Press F1 account from there in FFox or Edge or Opera Browsers. Here, in a new installation of Win10v 1809 I am having the same damn issues I had all last week and after hours/days of install-uninstall I am still locked out. I cannot have both HDD's with a different version of Win 10 connected to the computer at the same time because they somehow link the MBR's and screw up the version of w10 that is on the 1TB HDD and not the version on the 80GB HDD. So to use Press F1 I have to shut down, disconnect 1TB HDD, connect the 80GB HDD, set to boot from it in BIOS and use the Browser in that to log into Press F1. .Then to return to the 1TB HDD I have to do the shutdown/change HDD's etc etc. A real PITA!!!! So what exactly is going on there at Press F1 regarding my account? :D	kioti (17360)

BUT heres the "gotya" You HAVE to have a password to sign into the computer to begin with - if you don't you cant enter the password, so you then need to create a password to log in Via the user account, reboot, sign in, then you can see the details. If you are using FF --- Tools ( or the 3 horizontal bars top Right) - Options- Privacy & Security - Forms & Passwords, Saved Logins, Show passwords. I now have the 1809 up and running in the 1TB drive and am using it now so all is good. Oh and I am using FF. I do have a Password protected Admin account here in the W10v1809 so that's all good. I wish I didn't have to sign in when I get to the Login screen of W10, but..it's for safety I guess and as you said, password user account is a must have, in more ways than one. At the moment and for past 90 mins I have been installing a lot of the apps I use, some hefty ones that take time such as MS Office 2019 Pro Plus, Revo uninstaller Pro, Comodo IS 11, Java/Flash Player/MKVTool nix/ Easeus Partition Manager Tech Edition/Data Recovery Wizard. Todo Backup/ WinRar and the list goes on.... I still have Media creation Apps to install, ConvertXto DVD 7, Adobe CC apps..... a lot...all takes time. It is so peaceful in the mind to have the W10 v 1809 installed and functioning well. I do not have the 80GB HDD connected to computer, just the 1TB HDD...what I will do tomorrow is have the 80GB connected on its own and transfer all data/docs I want from it to a folder in one of my external drives and remove the 80-GB drive completely. That's about it for now, and I will look into the steps you gave about seeking the accounts for PF1 on FF. Cheers I just had a look at the Saved passwords and it showed my proper ones for PF1, but that is here in the new v1809. :D	kioti (17360)
