1487780 2022-08-12 07:55:00 Cats gone missing. She did it before once, but not for this long. Sigh...

And after our trip out to deliver lost cat pamphlets and notices up shop I did this backing down our drive:

1487781 2022-08-12 09:56:00 You're not going to like the cost to replace it, unless you can find one at the wreckers and do the installation yourself... might be looking at 4 digits... in addition to the digit you'll want to flip at them when they tell you the price. Paul.Cov (425)
1487782 2022-08-12 11:02:00 You may think you got off lightly if you don't get the full 7yrs bad luck, but think of it from the mirror's point of view (now obscured) . . . .
;)

1487783 2022-08-12 21:59:00 Found one, $140.
Plus mechanic cost $70.
Not bad.

Sadly neighbour found the cat. Dead. Hit by car it seems.

His cat.

Mine were earlier. It's getting to be a bit of a cemetery out back. Snuffs age 17 a week after I got here. Feel bad about that, she wasn't well, but was it the move that pushed over the edge?
PK aged 19 last year, Hoover age maybe 16? earlier this year. And now Shady, aged 8 months.

He said he keeps expecting her to come running in the door, or jump up on his desk, or bed.

Yes, I had that when mine went.....kept thinking I'd heard them

And still get that with husband...well not the jumping up bit.. but you get the idea.... Sort of think oh he's in the shed...well knowing not really, but that expectation you get
