That's the same one I linked to with their YouTube channel. Sadly they don't seem to have actually made anything commercially available yet, just prototypes and demonstrations. I think the efficiency and range is not so great.

1487758 2022-08-12 05:39:00 the simple problem is that compressed air is extremely inefficient to produce.
on a typical commercial compressed air system you only a get about 4% of the energy actually used for work. even if you make it the best system your only looking at 10%.

1487759 2022-08-12 06:03:00 Wow, I'd better keep that a secret from my son. He's been a compressor systems installer/serviceman for 15 years. That might upset him. :):) Lots of compressed air systems he looks after here in the Hawke's Bay/Poverty Bay area.

it won't upset him, as he will know it already.
tho its usually the sales people that peddle the old "compressed air is highly efficient" bs.

I dare say they sold a lot of stock options before mysteriously vanishing. An old tradition for alternative motor vehicle "breakthroughs", particularly "run your car on water".

and much the same with some of the EV's. people who invested early on have been beating the drums lately to create interest so they could offload their shares before the company tanks.
one company alone had something like 5 'articles' on Stuff.
