| 1487399 | 2022-07-18 02:11:00 | Sometimes you have to uninstall the Photo Viewer package and reinstall it. I normally install the older style photo Viewer, its still faster than the newer one. You have to edit the reg to activate it, To get it go to www.tenforums.com Scroll down the page and there's download links for the completed reg file, simply double click it after downloading and then go to any picture - Right click - Open With - tick the box to make it the default. |

I tried to reload Photos from the Microsoft Store but it came up with no download button, possibly because it showed the program as already installed. It is, but it doesn't work. You wont be able to install over the top until you remove the current version, then it should show in the MS Store as available. How to uninstall it. Must be done in Power Shell as Admin. www.isumsoft.com (www.isumsoft.com) Note: number 2 in the instructions -- You can also click in the search and type in Power Shell ( run as Administrator) |
