It was repaired by replacing the start-up resistor, a 1Mohm high voltage type. That's a nice easy fix! I only had that once on a small 5v SMPS for a router. Most computer PSUs I've repaired involved blown transistors etc, or shorted output diodes. (Or for simple repairs, replacing worn out capacitors) |
