Been selling dozens and dozens of them over the years, and no failures at all,only versions I wont use are the SU630's. In fact the most SSD's that failed were actually Samsungs. (including one of my own that was two years old). You cant go buy price, Samsungs are almost the exact same price as ADATA. In Fact in most cases Samsung are cheaper, so going by that they are worse. |

Warranty replacements : FAULTY There's two models of ADATA my suppliers have, the SU630 and SU800, I never use the 630's. I do have a couple here, but the performance on them, the 800 has higher read/write speeds. Also use WD blues, 5 year warranties, but like everything these days some stock is gone even before it arrives ( Pre Sold). The read write speed on the two are close. ADATA (512GB) = Up to 560MB/s Read, Up to 520MB/s Write WD Blue (500GB) Up to 560MB/s Read, Up to 530MB/s Write, as a comparison, Samsung 870 EVO 500GB =Up to 560MB/s Read, Up to 530MB/s Write. RAM failures --It happens sometimes , similar I wont touch WD Black Drives now, had a bad run with over 1/2 dozen all failing within a two month period. All different batches. |

The ones I've owned have never given me trouble, oldest is a 120G sata SSD in use as a boot drive since that was a good size for an SSD. On the other hand a few years back they had a range of SSDs with a firmware issue, perhaps that's where all the failures came from? Not that it matters as the OP has gone with Samsung. |

| 1486533 | 2022-05-31 21:26:00 | I put a cheap(est) SSD in a laptop, Crucial I think. It boots fast and all that, and has low power usage, but on multi thread workloads it slows to a crawl. For example; downloading a torrent at full speed, makes VLC stutter when trying to play back a locally stored file! I expect a better brand like Intel would not have this problem. Funny, all my spinning hard drives also seem to cope much better in the same scenario... |

| 1486534 | 2022-06-03 02:25:00 | All done and dusted this morning, fitted a Samsung Evo870, decided to try cloning instead of imaging for once and all went perfectly using Macrium. SWMBO should be very happy with the speed boost. |
