| 1487027 | 2022-06-28 05:11:00 | house fires go fast, much faster than what people think. thats why you bail out and stay out. in a lot of cases the fire crews are there to stop it spreading to the next house, not to try and save the house. this is also why fire retardants in products are a fat waste of time. |

| 1487028 | 2022-06-29 07:06:00 | Yes, Ive seen a couple of house fires in old Kauri, Rimu, and Totara houses, one caused by the Coal Range and the other by failure of the VIR Insulation used on wiring years ago. And the fact there were four motor vehicles around the house and none could be saved also gives an indication of the intensity of the fire. |
