Now I would like to use some of the "old" hdd's(IDE) and am looking at this (www.trademe.co.nz)docking station. I just dont want to through things away when still working ok. Just that I do not want any desktop case around . Has anyone of you used this one above successfuly? Thanks |

| 1153983 | 2010-11-18 02:02:00 | Personally I'd get one of these (ascent.co.nz) rather than a no-name thing off TM, but that no name thing ought to work quite well. I've got a digitus SATA one here thats mint, works a treat. The thing I linked to comes with a power adapter with a few different plugs and a sata cable, and works with any 2.5" or 3.5" IDE device, as well as sata (works sweet with DVD drives too). I've got a couple, they are worth their weight in gold. |

The other docking station looks just more elegant though possibly not able to attach a DVD drive. |
