885851 2010-05-19 03:08:00 So all the whinging about tax, do people really not want any services? OK, it doesn't work perfectly, what does .

We could just go back to having some guy in charge of the place, by means of having the biggest sword and army, help himself to everything and everyone else be a peasant and slave for their benefit .

And if you don't like it well, get your own sword . . . . . . . .

I thought we had become a bit more civilised than that by now .

885855 2010-05-19 04:22:00 If one legally down their salary you may be fully entitled to welfare like the working for family and maybe like housing NZ.
Unless you say to get welfare you must have no trust, not even sure if that's legal  Then they put it on the best friend or partner  Just going in circles.

Even if you have a flat tax and have welfare, they cannot claim tax but they can sure rip the welfare out.

Yeah you could make health insurance compulsory then peopel would try to rip the insurers

Any decent accountant would offer their services to best provide the client. They all talk about tax minimisation. Accountants do, lawyers so. It's in your best interest. On the flashy brochure from Public Trust. Get a trust and you can pay less tax, you can asset protection, you can strip yourself of assets and get hospital care and retirement homes when you get old, and other welfares.

But not doing it is like, I am a student but I choose not to get student discounts. Or I am a pensioner but I choose to pay the bus driver.

Cur Roger Douglas has learned nothing from the fiascos resulting from the privatisation of Telecom and NZ Rail.
