No driver that lost control That could just mean he had bald tyres, or it could just be a journalist re-wording a press-release. I dunno. It is a sad situation, and I do feel for all those involved. |

| 887007 | 2010-05-23 15:17:00 | Its a Spec S so only an SR20DE non turbo, possibly not even as quick as a 4A-GE, the Silvia will be a hell of alot more tail happy than a BZ-R if you give it stick though. Ahh, thought it was the DET for some reason. My car before the Levin was a bluebird with a SR20DE and yes, the 4A-GE is somewhat faster. SR-20 still has plenty of power to get a RWD car sideways on a wet road if you wished though... |

| 887008 | 2010-05-23 18:42:00 | "I do note in this particular case the Police have not yet preferred charges which would tend to indicate that the matter is not as open and shut as some may believe at this time." I beg to differ - I believe the delay is so when they do charge they have the most evidence to ensure they can apply the harshest charge. I think if they can find enough evidence to prove he has a history of this sort of driving and I reckon they are scouring the interweb for anything that can link him to having a boy racer mentality then they will be going for some sort of manslaughter charge. |

| 887010 | 2010-05-23 22:18:00 | Last night while out walking the dog - saw something that made me smile-- One of these "boy Racers", saw a couple of teenage girls on the other side of the road, trying to show off /impress he gunned it, making all sorts of noise as they do these days, Next second a shower of sparks out the Exhaust, followed by a cloud of white smoke - and sounding rather expensive while limping away --- The girls pointed and laughed. |

Yes, the road was dangerous. Blame the road. Punish the road. Actually punish the stupid parents that make excuses for the kids bad driving. |

| 887014 | 2010-05-24 00:35:00 | a cloud of white smoke - and sounding rather expensive while limping away Expensive indeed. If watching ATP on ESPN has taught me anything, then white smoke is probably the turbo... Big, big $$$. |

| 887015 | 2010-05-24 01:49:00 | I think there must be god when something happens like a turbo blowing up when showing off. As far as the black spot bad road the western leader here local rag said Candia road over the hill is supposed to be blackspot after some chick got waxed there. I travel over there a few time a week and cant see the problem although you couldnt do 60 mph around the windy bits. Which I guess the chick tried much to her disappointment as she was killed by death. If my kids get waxed driving stupidly they wont get any sympathy from me, bugger them. I will make some more. |
