| 1155026 | 2010-11-21 05:30:00 | I have been playing around with font sizes (increasing age, you know!). When I change the size in the browser (IE8) via the menu item 'View - Text size' - 'Smaller' looks good. However, it doesn't 'stick' and keeps reverting back to 'Medium'. What do I need to do to 'save' it? As always - TIA for you help. :) |

| 1155029 | 2010-11-21 05:36:00 | Try this -- Open IE8 -- Down the very Bottom Right hand corner of the browser is a percentage Sign. By Default its 100%, change it to suit, click on the down arrow to expand it out (then increase) when you next open IE, it should auto resize to what you selected eg: 125% edited: Screen shot Showing location (www.imagef1.net.nz) |

It is this bit I'm having problems with now . . . . 100% looks good, but when I change the font size via View, Text size (to get a good looking text AND reasonable Menu font size)- that's when everything goes to custard . Initially the 'Menu' bar was the wrong size . Now that's ok, changing the thingy at the bottom right (thanks Wainui) . I had found that and managed to change the Menu bar too . But there is still problems with the other . :( |

Are you referring to the wording "Internet | Protected Mode on" -- Just tried changing every font setting I can find in IE, and that basically stays the same font / size no matter what the Zoom :confused: |

Always aggravating.... And yes, I am referring to the wording as suggested above. Mostly that doesn't matter, but the messages there I am missing - too small without glasses. With glasses, I can't read the rest of the page.... Oh dear! :( Never mind - I'll go and worry about something else. |

| 1155034 | 2010-11-21 18:42:00 | It is this bit I'm having problems with now. Because you can't change everything. That's why. Short of totally changing the screen res, and that would stuff it up if it's an LCD. What about changing the DPI setting perhaps? |
