| 1154999 | 2010-11-21 00:34:00 | How do I remove programs from opening certain document types such as .doc and .cfg? | QW. (15883) | ||
| 1155000 | 2010-11-21 00:38:00 | Rephase the question maybe? You don't want to open those files ever or do you want to change the program they open with? If the latter normally just right click the file > open with > select the prog and tick always use this prog. |

| 1155001 | 2010-11-21 00:45:00 | I want to remove the program from opening up the file ie .doc. Files with .pub are opened in Wordpad and I don't want it to open at all in wordpad. |

Windows Explorer / Tools / Folder Options / File Types There you should see the list of file types (.doc, .txt &etc) together with what application has been assigned as 'open with'. For example in my list .PUB is 'open with' Microsoft Office Publisher. |
