| 1154823 | 2010-11-20 04:12:00 | I've just had an unusual phone call from an Indian gentleman who insists that my PC has a problem whereby I am sending all sorts of data onto the net. After much questioning I managed to get him to tell me who he represented. He assured me that he is with BOKA.net and they are the service providers for Windows in NZ. He was very insistent that I allow him to talk me down on my keyboard to fix my "problem". He may be genuine and I may be misjudging him but if he knows so much about my computor, how come he didn't even know when I unplugged my router in the midst of our conversation:rolleyes:? Sorry this is such a ramble but has anybody had a similar call from "BOKA.net" trying to get you to follow their instructions to input stuff on your keyboard ? Cheers |

| 1154825 | 2010-11-20 04:44:00 | Scam doing the rounds in Christchurch as well. don't let them take you to a website where they ask you to input some numbers into a field, they then have access to your computer. If you google Scam-Phone-Computer you will find it's been going on for at least 2 years overseas Cheers Wayne |
