| 888360 | 2010-05-26 12:59:00 | Blackberrys are really dumb phones with out BES/BIS services...plus the pearl runs a dated OS. Not what I would reccomend as a cheap smart phone thats for sure. | Alex B (15479) | ||

| 888364 | 2010-05-27 00:45:00 | No problem. I have bought from eBay before. Generally speaking get the right version, I got a Nokia from EU (Germany) so it worked on Vodafone, this was in the 2G days. The newer ones from the Americas is ok too as they tend to work on the XT network, its less main freq may work on Vodafone/2Degrees. Postal a bit pricey I guess $30 or so. I think you better get it from Trademe. My 2c. Oh yeah the locking - not sure, guess you just take their word for it? I've never had a XT phone do dunno. If you need it urgently - Trademe. eBay - wait to auction ends then wait another week approx for it to get to Auckland and another day to get elsewhere .. Provided you are using Paypal for payment if using a NZ bank make that a week longer :D - Bank draft or telegraphic (they cost $20 or so right). |
