I need it on 2 degrees and dont need blackberry services and gps. I just need basic features and wifi (If I get 8120).

Max am about to pay is $230NZD including Postage.

Am looking on ebay and have found :

888360 2010-05-26 12:59:00 Blackberrys are really dumb phones with out BES/BIS services...plus the pearl runs a dated OS. Not what I would reccomend as a cheap smart phone thats for sure. Alex B (15479)

888362 2010-05-26 23:34:00 Just be careful buying phone from the US - the Telcos there tend to lock them to their network and it's a PITA to unlock them.

Trademe is a better bet.

888363 2010-05-27 00:28:00 yes and if you want one urgently why not go into a bricks and mortar shop ? Digby (677)
888364 2010-05-27 00:45:00 No problem. I have bought from eBay before. Generally speaking get the right version, I got a Nokia from EU (Germany) so it worked on Vodafone, this was in the 2G days. The newer ones from the Americas is ok too as they tend to work on the XT network, its less main freq may work on Vodafone/2Degrees.

Postal a bit pricey I guess $30 or so.
I think you better get it from Trademe.
My 2c.

Oh yeah the locking - not sure, guess you just take their word for it? I've never had a XT phone do dunno.
If you need it urgently - Trademe. eBay - wait to auction ends then wait another week approx for it to get to Auckland and another day to get elsewhere .. Provided you are using Paypal for payment if using a NZ bank make that a week longer :D - Bank draft or telegraphic (they cost $20 or so right).

888365 2010-05-27 03:09:00 Trademe auctions are a pain as you may not get it after waiting a week.
I think in your case a Trademe Buy It Now is a better option
