| 888088 | 2010-05-25 08:24:00 | For anyone who missed it, I've just seen the funniest interview in years, almost had tears running down my face in disbelief. Some "parent" from Boganville (aka Christchurch) is on Close Up because he heard a **** radio show was running a hug a ginga promotion. He argues it is racist against his two sons and will get them bullied at school, he even said Ginga's aren't protected by the Bill Of Rights (oh please - that was a killer). He drags the poor young guys on TV and makes a compete dork of himself, says he's been speaking to Human Rights. It's Priceless comedy. Poor kids will be embarrassed tomorrow at school for having been on TV with a loony Dad. |

Now he has made a very public spectacle of his family on the media which will take months maybe a few years to die. Dumb Dad you blew it, best to ignore some stuff because it goes away make a scene and it doesn't. What a dismal country we live in if this is leading news . Close Up TV1 an epic fail. |

| 888093 | 2010-05-25 10:35:00 | Ginga's aren't protected by the Bill Of Rights neither are bald guys, people with glasses, people who drive lada's, and people with a speech problem. they all get the piss taken out of them at some stage in life, it sucks , but that's life. he would be better off just talking to his kids and pointing out that this kind of stuff happens to many people who don't deserve it. help them deal with any issues. maybe he could have made a complainant to the radio station, even broadcasting standards. but to go on TV with the kids will probly do more damage than good. |

I though the host handled it pretty badly too, being a ginga himself. Paul off breakfast is a far better host and interviewer. |
