Otherwise harden up, a joke itself can't actually harm you. Verbal abuse does not leave visible marks that can be proven. I do have to say that said abuse if used over time could cause damage. I'd rather have a punch a bully every day promotion. I lived in fear of one down the road a while back until I got him on his own without his back up mates. He didn't come back for seconds. Having said that I also don't believe that violence solves everything. |

| 888153 | 2010-05-28 22:09:00 | Not sure who went to any of the "Hug a ginga" stations that The Edge had setup yesterday, but I was there at the crack of dawn, and it was a really awesome atmosphere! Hugs all around, gingas showing up for hugs and non-ginga families showing up to give gingas hugs "just because they could". It was something that I think Dom should be proud of having pioneered, there's enough violence in this world as it is, so it's nice to stop and thing "Yeah, lets give somebody a hug ..." Maybe I'm starting to get all philosophical now, but it was a cool time, even though I only stuck around for half an hour. My 11yr old sister even wrote a poem about gingas and read it live over the radio too, it was brilliant :D |
