| 887581 | 2010-05-24 06:17:00 | I debated this, but the thing that won favour with me was the blu-ray player. having said that, if I'd known Alan Wake was only coming to Xbox, it might just have swung my decision the other way! |

| 887582 | 2010-05-24 06:24:00 | I would just buy a Blu-Ray drive for my PC or a standalone Blu-Ray player if that was needed I would prefer that anyway, then you can use both at once (If you had a console as well) |

| 887583 | 2010-05-24 06:36:00 | Xbox 360. Better exclusive games. Wayy better online community (Gold isn't that expensive) Better controller (PS3 one is way too small and crappy) Better graphics (do a comparison from on gaming sites to see yourself) |

Except that both the 360 and ps3 do anti-aliasing... infact the 360 has a daughter-die on the gpu that handles anti-aliasing with no appreciable performance loss. |

Now everyone has HD LCD and Plasma and it looks really bad.... Seeing as the AA point has already been dismissed. The PC loses due to Its expensive and very poor value for money Games are corrupted by anti-piracy measures and they are getting worse,to the point they corrupt your PC Most companies have abandoned the PC as a gaming platform resulting in few high quality games, and those that do get released tend to be in a narrow spectrum and infested with anti-piracy crap Cross platform games are always poor on the PC Gaming hardware is limited due to the decline in the PC gaming market PC games are now mostly only available in speciality gaming stores. The likes of EA are crippling the second hand market by not allowing game to run when the media has been transferred to a different owner, and this will only get worse and kill off the PC gaming scene completely. Steam |

Steam Oh how attitudes have changed, but I agree |

| 887589 | 2010-06-04 01:54:00 | Bought the 120GB XBOX 360 Elite yesterday which came with 3 games for $346 . 50 . - Red Dead Redemption - Forza 3 - Halo ODST It was originally going to cost me $495 but I traded in most of my PSP and PS2 games which they offered $110 off my XBOX 360 and gave me another 10% off the XBOX 360 . I was about to get GTA Episodes from Liberty City as they are going to stop including Red Dead Redemption in the bundle but the guy was nice enough to give me RDR anyway . Thank you EB Games!! When it came to deciding between a XBOX 360 and PS3, I chose the XBOX 360 because of the price, game bundle (PS3 only offered RDR and Uncharted 2), Multiplayer capability (even though it will cost me a bit more for membership, I heard XBOX have better servers) . Lastly I didn't really care about blue-ray . Any recommended XBOX 360 games I should get? I heard Alan Wake is a must buy game . Also, instead of buying a LCD TV, is it possible to use a PC Monitor . Any recommendations for PC Monitors that aren't too pricey? Cheers guys |

| 887590 | 2010-06-04 02:43:00 | If you want a PC monitor, you'll have to get one with HDMI. Since thats the only connection on the Xbox (apart from the HD audio cable / RCA connections). So, it'll depend on how big you want it, on how much it'll cost | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
