1154984 2010-11-21 00:00:00 Well I get the impression that these days Adobe Acrobat reader isn't optimal for older computers

Is there a good alternative (sans older acrobat versions)?
Ideally something that: lets me copy text/images, browse contents, search, etc...

Any ideas would be appreciated

Make sure you get the MSI version or you'll get an eBay toolbar too :(

Some computers still have Adobe Reader 5! What drives me nuts is that it can't read certain PDF files.

1154993 2010-11-21 04:12:00 If you use foxit reader, pays to then download and run Revo uninstaller (http://revo-uninstaller-portable.en.softonic.com/) in Advanced mode - this is to remove the Askbar it installs.

Askbar is not shown in Add/remove programs, and you cant stop it from installing when installing Foxit ( free version), even if you DO select custom install and untick it. It will STILL install.
