Cant be used as boot drive and can only be used on 64 bit win vista and win 7 because of the 512 byte blocks or something. 512 byte blocks are the standard size. Some of the new drives use 4k blocks. The new block size only works properly on Vista and Win 7. If you want to use them on XP, you must run a special "Alignment Tool" before formatting. I haven't heard anything about them being unbootable.... |
