| 1157299 | 2010-11-29 22:31:00 | I've got an Asus Eee 701 running Leeenux v4. Works great, but Asus is usually pretty good quality anyway. Never even seen an MSI netbook, but I would probably buy one, I like the MSI motherboards I've got anyway. |

| 1157300 | 2010-11-30 08:09:00 | I'm currently looking at these: www.playtech.co.nz www.playtech.co.nz and www.extremepc.co.nz ($499 with GST) I really like the Acer Aspire but cannot upgrade the RAM. The MSI is effectively the same as the Asus but $10 cheaper. Any thoughts? |

| 1157301 | 2010-11-30 09:37:00 | I would be tempted to go with teh MSI. I bought in some MSI 16" laptops for a customer and they were very nice units. The MSI netbook being upgradeable to 2GB Ram would be a clincher over the Acer for me (although I have one of the first Acer netbooks with the slightly smaller screen - wish I could upgrade the Ram on that!) :2cents: |
