2010-05-29 04:10:00 | illegal written all over it. Microsoft dont put products on Rapidshare, or on Torrent sites - look at the Uploader = (unknown). The fact that this *legal* secret version of MS Office is available on a torrent site would be the other give away as Wainuitech has pointed out.

2010-05-29 08:15:00 | Just reading the latest Aust PC user Mag-- they had a article on an Outlook Alternative. Pimero (www.pimero.com) Downloaded it, installed the free version on W7 Workshop PC-- VERY impressed. Even the free version has most if not all the features of outlook. The paid version, according to the site, and mail program even allows you to sync between other PC's. Different editions (www.pimero.com) Even then its not to badly priced if you want the paid functions. Only annoying thing is on the free version, theres an ad window when opening the program for a few seconds, other than that - I think it may be one to look into. Sorry Wainui, I may have inadvertently hijacked your thread. :o I downloaded the Pimero program, and it looks like everything I've been looking for! Legal, and I think better than Outlook 2003. Thanks.

2010-05-29 08:26:00 | Not hijacking at all :) It was still on track with other Email programs -- all with the exception of illegal ones -- The program was just a review in a magazine I brought - mind you the mag says the free one doesn't have email support, but the actual free version on their site does ????? As Sweep mentioned earlier on Possible alternative to Windows live mail as well. While live mail works, I personally think it looks awful "plain and bland". I'll try it out some more before I suggest it to customers -- So any one who tries it -- it would be great if any experiences, Good, Bad or indifferent were posted. :thanks

2010-05-30 02:21:00 | I've downloaded Pimero, and the download also included some Microsoft.net Framework 2.0 SP2, 3.0 SP2 and 3.5 SP1 files, and Firebird (I assume all these are necessary to run Primero). The program appears to start OK, but is flagged "Pimero has encountered a problem and needs to close" If I select "Send error report" Pimero closes, if I select "Don't send", it also closes. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing Pimero twice, with no effect. I can however, run it if I move the "encountered a prob" window off screen and ignore it, but that's not a solution. I'm running XP Pro SP3, Firefox 3.6.3 Is Firefox an issue? (please don't tell me I have to go back to IE!) | 889100 | 2010-05-30 03:28:00 | Running OK on Win7 - but when I click the SkypeManager button in Extras, it doesn't recognise that Skype is already installed. Other than that, I'm quite impressed - nice and quick to navigate and intuitive, although setup of accounts is more like Outlook 2003 than 2007 - a bit on the manual side... But for the price, I would say an excellent replacement for Outlook Express or Live Mail. EDIT: Can't see anywhere to set a default font (I hate Arial) and when I click on an item in the RSS reader it opens IE (!!!) rather than the default browser (FF)

2010-05-30 04:37:00 | My version has simply stopped working. Worked ok yesterday. Today, it opens the advert / splash screen and then just disappears. Fails to open doesn't matter how long you wait.:badpc: Though in processes it is shown as running. Running somewhere.... Uninstalled and reinstalled, no improvement. Splash screen and then nothing. Might have to stick with Outlook for a while longer. :( It looked promising to start with ...............

2010-05-30 06:03:00 | The standard one would be better than the free one,if I read it right you can import with CSV but not Export (backup) Went back to using Opera Mail with Win7
