toshiba laptop running windows 7 the brightness of screen seems to be a lot duller than my other one is there a way this can be alterted or is it standard |

Is it running on Mains power or Battery ?
Battery will often "dull" the screen to save power. If on mains, look along the top row of F Keys, one will brightend the screen, normally has a symbol - Normally you would press the FN ( near the bottom of the Keyboard) and a F key up top to increase/Decrease the brightness. |
