| 1105610 | 2010-06-01 05:34:00 | I'm making a real effort to clean out junk and I have a drawer full of old 3.5 disks - I was pondering - has anybody heard of a use for these - I hate throwing stuff away and am not even sure if it goes in the recyclable bin or not. Tom |

But are the 3.5 disks to go in the recyclable or dump bins? Years ago I was lucky with my old 5.25 disks. Somebody turned up at my door - he had just bought an old computer and needed some disks - he had heard I had some and could let him have a few. I sent him off with about 100 new ones and rather more used ones. He went off staggering down our path muttering something about "I only wanted a few!" |

Back in the days diskettes were cool, I still have a box of SKC not used . They even came in a hard plastic box :D I don't really use much CDs or DVDs, I just use HDDs . Too many files and files that can be downloaded no point cos they get revised . BlueRay hasn't come down in price thou I prob won't use it other than movies, well that's for the lounge only, cannot remember when I watched a movie on my computer . USB sticks does it for me these days . . . |
