I have window 7 64bit, I have been using media player classic for a few years and now it has no audio. I unistalled and installed a new version of K Lite codec. still there is no audio PLZ help, |

Odd I did the same the other night and I have sound. You haven't muted the speakers by mistake? Double click the speaker icon bottom right and check the settings. Do you get sound from other sources say if you watch a clip on youtube? |

sounds works in vlc and youtube. yea I also checked the sound button it not muted |

Open the media player - View/Options -- Playback, Make sure its at Max, then down to Output - make sure system default is selected, as well as Direct show audio (near the bottom) is set to default.
Have a play around in it settings and check the player is not muted As circled (www.imagef1.net.nz) |

Thanxs wainuitech, what I did was go to output and change the audio rendener to speakers. now I got sound:banana |
