plugged in USB mouse & keyboard (cant take ps2)
keyboard will work in bios
but neither mouse nor keyboard will work on a normal or safe mode boot.
Have pulled the cmos battery - no change
have recheck bios - usb recognition is on

any suggestions on how to get the computer to recognize the mouse &/or keyboard?

1157718 2010-12-01 03:28:00 What version of windows is on it?? If XP, is SP3 on it? What does the entry show if you plug both in under device manager? Speedy Gonzales (78)

1157720 2010-12-01 03:33:00 Did you reconfigure the BIOS, since you removed the battery? Does the BIOS have a legacy USB option?? If it does, is it enabled? If you cant access it, how do you know it doesnt work? Speedy Gonzales (78)
