| 1106014 | 2010-06-02 05:05:00 | Recently my school has decided that all boarders MUST have AB Tutor Control installed on their laptops. If you don't let them install it the school will confiscate the laptop until you next go home and you are not allowed to bring it to school. they also block countless websites by category and give no clear reason (forums, bulletins boards. education, humor, entertainment ect) I can only just accept this because we are using their internet connection so they can do what they want with it but they have recently banned T-sticks so we now have no alternative, fascist censored connection or nothing. I was wondering if anyone else thinks this is a bit extreme or unethical of the school? |

At home I would expect any parent worth their salt to also monitor your internet access!.... When you are an adult, pay your way and your own BB, you can do what you like, until then, you have to accept the rules.... |
