2010-06-09 04:59:00 | I actually thought it was nice of them to put a real face on it, the CEO on the line, to be straight up about their failures, to say they messed up and they've fixed their $%&#, and to be able to laugh at themselves over it. Nah I'm with Metla. But not the tea lady; Dougal, he's about as credible as the CEO. I thought it was pathetic, hello, hello? Nah just joking. Well maybe they fixed the XT issue but the damn thing doesn't work in large parts of Southland still, oh hang on, you need to be in a container in Auckland harbour, not the bottom of the country. And Telecom is always playing catch up, they only ever do anything when someone else did it years ago or they have to eventually. Large parts of the country still can't get broadband, people still have to wait ages to get a new phone connection, and so on. I could spend all day giving you examples - you forget that living in a main city.

2010-06-09 06:15:00 | I'd rather bet on Telecom for rural support, who've pledged ADSL2+ broadband of 10-20m/bit to 75% of the country, rather than the Govt who've only pledged 70% ;) | Chilling_Silence (9) | |
2010-06-09 06:24:00 | You would believe Telecoms crap? why on earth would you do that? Based on everything else they have ever said, done, denied, hyped, marketed, or charged money for its a complete and utter lie.

2010-06-09 06:28:00 | You would believe Steven Joyce over them? Better the devil you know .... | Chilling_Silence (9) | |
2010-06-09 06:33:00 | I'd rather bet on Telecom for rural support, who've pledged ADSL2+ broadband of 10-20m/bit to 75% of the country, rather than the Govt who've only pledged 70% ;) 10 years of doing the bare minimum to try and stave off pending regulation while raping consumers, I have no idea why you support this worthless turd of a company. I'll take my chances with the government thanks, Fibre to the door with not a cent going to Telecom sounds like heaven to me!, maybe you are just new to following broadband development in NZ?

2010-06-09 06:45:00 | You would believe Steven Joyce over them? Better the devil you know .... I said I don't trust anything Telecom have to say, therefore I would never support their involvement in anything.

2010-06-09 11:33:00 | Well apparently ignorance is bliss, but that choice is outside of my hands ;) I'm ignorant of Telecom? That's fine, I'm happy to judge them on their past performance.

2010-06-09 12:50:00 | I will implicitly trust Telecom to promise the earth and deliver squat. It's just what they do best. Instead of blatant pie-in-the sky offers, they should be fertilising the country with their "promises", we would be running 5 SU to the acre beside the desert road (plus soldiers, horses and rabbits). We could feed the world. | R2x1 (4628) | |
2010-06-09 21:11:00 | Well apparently ignorance is bliss, but that choice is outside of my hands ;) Well do a little research about Braodband in NZ in the last 10 years, bring yourself up to speed, you don't have to remain ignorant Chilling you can change!!. Back on topic, that Telecom add reeks of desperation.
