Care to elaborate on that?

Black Sabbath would have been operating under much stronger censorship (commercially and socially) then any modern band, and look what they did,Invented a genre of music.

they did not prevail until people took a chance. They were one of the most banned bands for quite some time, until laws got modern.

Now we are dealing with an age of extremes, what do we say is right and wrong?

I second the motion, hell Priest were sued for apparently driving people to commit suicide, and maiden were of course satanic devil worshipers...

And crap talks about rape/murder/crime and all other kinds of crap, that certainly isn't censored...

I don't follow you at all...

I can go and find you some great bands out there, which you will probably like... They just aren't played on TV or the radio. TV and radio play what get them hits, clearly modern pop/crap does that... I don't see the censorship anywhere...

Like it's timing, with modern times come modern understandings, we cant all become of age with religious understandings or else we would all be dead by now, but the artist does not sound mad in this day and age because

well because i read some crap somewhere

1106170 2010-06-02 13:24:00 Personally, I'm into Hard Dance/Hardstyle and sometimes a bit of Dubstep. www.youtube.com

The majority of the Top 40 are just bands/singers that have been heavily invested in by corporations. They decide who is going to be in the Top40, and whose CD you will buy next. That isn't music.

Anything that doesn't fall into that category I would class as music worth listening to.

1106171 2010-06-02 14:09:00 A small question here for you all.

Because some of you may not like the music and lyrics I choose to listen to does that make me wrong?

These lads can make Guitars sing and don’t need vocal. I like the key changes part way through. When I bought my first CD player I also got the first CD which I still have.

In case you want the lyrics I offer this.

Enjoy or not as you wish.:o Your choice is over to you and I won't denigrate those that choose other forms of what is surely entertainment.

The original Ghost Riders I heard was done by The Sons of the Pioneers and I still have the vinyl record today. If anyone wants proof I could attach a photo.
