Take a number of frames, and if possible superimpose them upon one another... and you might just get a better image. Try playing with the contrast and gamma as well if available, but otherwise, gotta agree with what the others have been saying - your odds don't seem good, but based on TV, the one element you are missing is a time-bomb with one minute to detonation. Once you get that, your computer nerd will resolve the image, hack into the FBI database and defuse the bomb with one second to spare... seen it work dozens of times! |

| 1157705 | 2010-12-01 08:45:00 | I dont know if this would work or not but here is what my first thoughts were. 1) Find the best position of the recording where the number plate is most visible. 2) Take a full resolution screen-shot of the recording. 3) Import into photoshop and play around with levels, lighting and even try inverse the image to a negative so the whites are blacks and blacks are white. You never know, you may be able to make out some letters if you up the contrast or something. |
