Oh look a chicken!

Music is alive and well.

That's a perfect example of the rubbish quality of modern music.

Small, dull, uninspired, limited, powerless, soulless, emotionless, rubbish lyrics, rubbish singing, Boring and drab. and bizarrely they decided to do a black n white video to reinforce all the weak points.

I just watched The Who-Live at the Isle of White DVD, Its bizarre to think that in the 40 years since that day the britsh music scene has gone from such great heights to the horrible horrible crap they now produce.

Maybe they need a war to get back the fire in their belly. At the very least a good war might wipe out a few of their weak musicians.

1106234 2010-06-07 09:18:00 From Wikipedia:

"Won't Get Fooled Again" is a song by the rock band The Who. Written by Pete Townshend, it combines guitar power chords with heavily processed organ and synthesizer sounds to create a textured, atmospheric introduction that explodes into the verse. It tells of a "revolution of revolutions" in an endless cycle, where "the change it had to come, we knew it all along" but each successive new regime turns out to be just like the old one "meet the new boss, same as the old boss", so that straight away it's time once again to "pick up my guitar and play, just like yesterday, then I'll get on my knees and pray we don't get fooled again".

but we did.

1106237 2010-06-07 12:37:00 I hate how people now substitute talent with autotune and beats with electronic drones. It's cool if you're making a techno track, but if you're trying to sing like that, then no.
Even then, use some god damn imagination. tsh tsh clap tsh tsh boom clap is NOT A CREATIVE DRUM BEAT.

And at the other end of the spectrum, you've got dragonforce going ever faster and yet still no more creative than a wet sock, and heavy metal bands sounding more and more like two stones grinding together.

Bah I just hate the state of music now.

Johnny Marr a weak musician, you're having a laugh. But then you listen to Metal which like Rap has little resemblance to music.
