| 1157497 | 2010-11-30 03:54:00 | Recent purchase of Xbox 360 can see home network out of box, along with getting onto Xbox Live. When attempting to connect as an extender though Windows Media Centre, the setup gets through the installing Media Center software then comes up with Configuration Error and then "invalid setup key" - this is the 8 digits allocated by the Xbox. I can see the Xbox in home network, when attempting to connect, the Xbox brings up the Windows Media Centre screen with message waiting to connect. If I look via Windows media Center I can see the XBox icon and it says it is not set up. Have file sharing enabled, the media streaming options are allowed. I am running Windows 7, have Norton Internet Security 2011, the router is a Allied Telesyn 4 port combo Ethernet USB wireless ADSL router The Windows 7 was an upgrade from Vista (Not a clean install) but has been on for several months and runs without any issues. Can anyone help me with this please Thanks Tony |
