| 1159311 | 2010-12-06 02:53:00 | Hi, For some time now I been using the above Windows Live Mail --all good EXCEPT :- When e mail comes in a group of them are boxed into a blue square--if I click on one of the contacts,in that blue square the blue goes away and things work normally BUT If I click on delete, without first clicking on any one e mail, - all in that box go to deleted The only access to them is in deleted folder. I can process from within that folder, then have to go back to "in Tray" to do the rest Why is this?:o effie c |

| 1159312 | 2010-12-06 10:13:00 | It sounds like the emails are being selected (same as what normally happens when you left-click on an item/icon, so you can manipulate it in several ways e.g. cut/paste/delete etc when the item is right-clicked) as a group automatically, check for some form of auto-edit mode in your program menus/options. Sorry, I dont use Windows Live Mail, so cant help with precise instructions. When e mail comes in a group of them are boxed into a blue square--if I click on one of the contacts,in that blue square the blue goes away and things work normally You're deselecting/turning off the selection. If I click on delete, without first clicking on any one e mail, - all in that box go to deleted Normal behaviour if items are selected and the delete key is pressed. You can also select easily yourself by holding down left-click and dragging the pointer over the items you want to select, or using left-click with shift or ctrl keys to pick consecutive or individual items. |
