1109390 2010-06-12 00:12:00 Here. (www.nzherald.co.nz)

Skinner's partner Tina Preece said outside court that justice hadn't been done.

"I think it was a very unfair decision. The only reason they came to that decision is because he was a police officer. If it had been a normal person off the street, a thug or a criminal, it would have been a different story," she said.

What does she expect. The man was just doing his job, finding out what your scumbag of a partner was doing.
I see he has more charges coming up for the manufacturing of P. Think he might be awhile in jail.

1109391 2010-06-12 00:43:00 Note too that she lives in a rented house with the scum-bag manufacturing drugs - with the kids living in the same house. It has already cost the house-owner a small fortune trying to clear up the mess. Nice lady. Scouse (83)

1109394 2010-06-12 01:26:00 I think the media is wrong in giving these losers a voice, who cares what the silly cow thinks, cant be any "human interest" angle in this apart from what the kids are subjected to (but that was ignored by the media).
Anything for a sensational headline, and ignore the facts these days, and if you can get them crying on camera, so much the better! :crying:crying
(One thing though, the item on TV did show some of the fugly (www.3news.co.nz) side of NZ, urgh).
The moral and ethical standards of all news media has really taken a dive in the last few years! :groan:

1109396 2010-06-12 02:43:00 No, no. Tina Preece is correct.

Justice was not done.

If it had, Skinner would be sitting a a chair with a very high voltage running through him.

Seconded.

It's seriously concerning me that more and more officers are getting killed on the job. When will these spineless politicians and dumb 'human-rights' advocates realise these scums are not worth the oxygen they breathe??
