From the Police alerts: Title: Ranui Ice Cream Robbery - Female Arrested An 18 year old female has appeared in the Waitakere District Court on a charge of aggravated robbery after her arrest at a Ranui address. On the 29 May 2010 five offenders armed with hammers, a knife and a pistol went into the Ranui Takeaway Store and stole a large quantity of ice cream. This must rate right up there with the clip from NZ Crimewatch, when the host was outraged about the theft of a ten year old Ford Cortina. :D That made the UK and USA networks. Wonder what this'll do to our "safest" rating ..... :D |

Rush Limbaugh never mentioned it either. :devil I think the US Gummermint takes pity on people who hang upsidedown all the time and they filter these sort of things out of the general news links for us. Your secret is safe - well, I KNOW it now - so you might want to reconsider the 'safe' part. |

| 1108767 | 2010-06-10 12:20:00 | I got that release too. Kinda worrying that they brought a gun to take ice creams. Don't they know how to rob a place? Use as little force as possible! They could've just ran off, and the cops wouldn't care as much, but because an airgun was involved, that brought it to a whole new level. Similar reason why bank robbers use notes instead of guns. |
