1109795 2010-06-14 08:03:00 I had an MCR320 for my last watercooling build. It was great, one guy from I can't remember where had 2x 5970s and an OC'ed 920 on that one rad. I'm sure the XSPC one is better, though you would need a higher pressure fan.

As for customs - why would they want to confiscate these things? The only things I thought they'd be *itchy about is the anti-bio stuff. Which by the way can be replaced by the silver coil!

1109796 2010-06-14 08:14:00 They wont confiscate, but they may feel the need to open it up and put their tax on it, which can sting hueybot3000 (3646)
1109797 2010-06-14 08:25:00 You won't pay UK GST (VAT) though which is 17.5% so that might cover any unforseen bill gary67 (56)
1109798 2010-06-14 08:28:00 Just gets easier. I cant remember what the deal was with tax here. but im pretty sure its higher than gst hueybot3000 (3646)

Oh really? So there will be no extra at all?

Huey - what's the custom's tax? Sounds like one ANNOYING hurdle....

1109800 2010-06-14 10:03:00 BTW Huey when do you need all your parts to be in by? It might be worth gathering up more interest on GP and see if we can share the pain of shipping cost and potential customs tax. qazwsxokmijn (102)
1109801 2010-06-14 10:10:00 no real rush, i mean ive waited 3 months for radiator already lol shipping will be free if we combine our current orders. And as far as I know the smaller the package is then the less likely customs are to look at it.

Customs (www.customs.govt.nz) page says in the table down the bottom that there is no tax on computers (well its in the list) I wonder if watercooling is classed as computers. From that table though it looks like if there is a fee itl be f-all so nothin much to worry about.

Up to you what you want to do, just keep in mind the bigger the order the more organising :D

1109802 2010-06-14 10:13:00 Sweet as. Hope you realise when they say free shipping it's within UK lol. Not international shipping. qazwsxokmijn (102)
1109803 2010-06-14 10:15:00 Does it say that? I thought that might be the case, anyways thou shipping would only be about 50 bucks each. Which is a bit but not too bad considerin the money saved hueybot3000 (3646)
1109804 2010-06-14 10:19:00 I've sent an email asking how much shipping would approximately be. But from looking at UK's Royal Mail service we may be paying up to around 90 pounds, which is close $200!!

We'll wait till they reply though.
