1109785 2010-06-13 21:07:00 Yep, I know what the silver coil is. Unfortunately no jewellers that I have contacted have these strips to sell (JD's and Michael Hills), unless you can think of any other jewellers?

You need a place where you talk to the person that makes the stuff on sale not a salesperson at Michael Hills who probably doesn't know where it comes from.

Well, smell is one thing as gary mentioned. But then again we'll see if it goes through or not. It's the least vital part of the order, really, so if it doesn't get through, it's not a disaster.

Any idea where I should be asking?

1109787 2010-06-13 22:34:00 Well, I just googled Silversmiths Auckland, and several places came up.

I'm in Wellington but if you looked in the Ak yellow pages you might find

http://www.grahamshirley.co.nz/
http://jewellersworkshop.co.nz/
http://www.walkerandhall.co.nz/

likely candidates.

Looking on another NZ computer forum I see sidewindercomputers.com mentioned as a source of parts have you looked there?

1109789 2010-06-14 06:21:00 You'll only be carrying a 40cm long radiator (the biggest item), a CPU waterblock, and 2 small items you can just chuck in a handbag (a silver coil and anti-corrosion liquid).

Where you buying from? I'm still waiting on my radiator from cl but can't see that coming anytime soon (been on backorder for 3 months). Also a few other watercooling bits. Could split shipping or something?

Interesting proposition. Are you only looking to get a radiator or something else? The Heatkiller 3.0 LC waterblocks are only 30 pounds, which works out to be around $65NZ. For that price you can't even get an Apogee GT!!

Buying from watercoolinguk.

1109791 2010-06-14 06:42:00 Im cuirrently using a Apogee GT, it's kinda badly mounted to my 1156 socket board but works. It's a shame no one has a bracket for them yet. I would most likely be wanting a radiator, GPU block and some push fittings (sick of cable clamps) and dependin on price some anti bio agent. Although playtech sells some reasonable non conductive stuff which I might go for this time around. hueybot3000 (3646)
1109792 2010-06-14 06:55:00 Heatkiller LC 1156 block (www.watercoolinguk.co.uk)
EK Full Cover 5850 block (www.watercoolinguk.co.uk)
XSPC 360 Rad (www.watercoolinguk.co.uk)
Compression Fittings (www.watercoolinguk.co.uk)
Seriously, if I was at UK right now....this store would be robbed! :D

1109793 2010-06-14 07:00:00 I've never heard of heatkiller, sounds like I should of though. And that gpu block seems a bit pricey, may as well buy that here. Otherwise they look good. Is that the rad your going for? How does it compare to the Swiftech MCR320? That's what I was going to get. hueybot3000 (3646)
1109794 2010-06-14 07:28:00 I've sorted an order and im only 50 pounds off free shipping so if we combined there would be no shipping. Only problem with importin is if customs pick it up. Ive been lucky in the past but im sure one day they'l get me hueybot3000 (3646)
