| 1108665 | 2010-06-10 03:47:00 | I know this is making the rounds now - but is there any general consensus on it in Upsidedown Land? LINK TO GOOGLE CHROMIUM DOWNLOAD SITE (?) (http://google-chromium-os.en.softonic.com/) Just wonderin' if it would be an OS that they have up-n running or just some code to tinker with. My code-tinkering days are over. I want a reliable platform and I have an Asus Eee-pc to use it in/on. Does anyone see a thumb-drive version of it there that I am missing? |

Or go down to your library and see if they have AUS PC User: Issue October 09 with CD/DVD. On the disk there is a useful tool that lets you boot linux iso files off USB. Picture. | 1108674 | 2010-06-10 06:46:00 | Yup! :D Read your review - kewl! I'll try this after I get back from some trout fishing, tomorrow . Is it gonna zortch me like "L-based" things? I have a few 'minor' difficulties with things-L - about which you may not know . Is there any preferred mobo and/or processor? Any decidedly dangerous to try it on? Will it work on antique towers? I mean like a Dell XL450? It's LATE:30 here - so I will get to bed now . Thanks if you get any answers for me - in advance! |
