1159737 2010-12-07 21:22:00 Ok so I'm at work and I'm often taking messages for workmates and writing them down. I am wanting to know if anyone has a suggestion for a desktop program where I can just click on the icon and enter a name, number, and message if need be, or anything similar? dpDesignz (15919)

1159739 2010-12-07 21:27:00 Search for sticky pads. Or Note-it Speedy Gonzales (78)
1159740 2010-12-07 21:27:00 Make a shortcut to Notepad, or, press WinKey + R, type "notepad" and click OK. Then, next time just press WinKey + R, then Enter. Easy :D

I use it *all* the time, and it's great because it works on more than just your own PC!

1159742 2010-12-07 22:23:00 Depends on what you wanna do really? Are you wanting to share these notes? Can they not easily be emailed?

Tried it for iPhone and Android, didn't really like either to be honest...

1159743 2010-12-07 23:03:00 I am just wanting to type the notes in, not needing to be shared, just would be good to have a program where I can type the name, phone, time and message where I can file it away and or print it dpDesignz (15919)
1159744 2010-12-07 23:03:00 I've used Stickies for years. It's great. Take the note. Send it to your colleague.

1159745 2010-12-07 23:09:00 If you have Win 7 you can use sticky notes. Snorkbox (15764)
1159746 2010-12-07 23:10:00 Evernote has a web clipper feature, allowing to save info form web sites if you want. Sometimes I just use Gmail and Google Docs for storing lengthy notes/documents, within different labels (folders). Then can read/send from any computer if required. kahawai chaser (3545)
