1111688 2010-06-20 03:50:00 TVNZs website actually stated that most of wellington gets some form of salt air, due to wind, so the warrenties would probably be invalid, and infact most NZs live close to the sea. I think they are not being made to NZ conditions, thus they are not fit for their intended purpose in NZ or built to be durable enough. The commerce commission should be looking into this, instead of being on their phone companies backs. There is not much people can do about this, except buy a brand that has a decent warrenty. robbyp (2751)

1111690 2010-06-20 05:02:00 I see. Perhaps rig up a optional auxiliary supply like a large air tank? Not quite that simple unfortunately - your tank would simply end up working as a very large fridge, and your power bill would go up. Erayd (23)

If you drink a lot of beer, this of course could be quite a useful by-product.

The large fridge,that is!
