1110311 2010-06-15 01:55:00 Why not look up some karaoke software? I'm sure that could do what you want, with the exception of maybe encoding to mp4. Handbrake can take care of that.

Does the PSP have frame-by-frame playback?

Had that running on my previous PSP (now a brick)

Have you tried a pandora battery? www.dealextreme.com has 'em cheap enough.

1110312 2010-06-15 02:05:00 Yes the PSP does have frame by frame.

I sold the bricked one as parts.

1110314 2010-06-15 05:55:00 Where exactly on the PSP would you save it, so that the browser will read it. Driftwood (5551)
1110315 2010-06-15 23:48:00 I have found this on the web which should work on standard firmware.

"NIMS PSP EBOOK READER v1.5" BY NIMESH GHELANI"

I have installed it & it looks like it should work, but it won't load the reader.
I have sent an email to the author & are waiting for a reply.

1110316 2010-06-16 00:10:00 in the 'root' directory would be easier, then within browser in the address bar type
"file:/[filename].html"

1110317 2010-06-16 00:17:00 Would that be MP_Root or MLN_Root? Driftwood (5551)
1110318 2010-06-17 00:53:00 like c:\ or f:\ for usb connections
i think mp_root will work with "file:/mp_root/[filename].html" , but i haven't try

could u not get it working?
NOTE: "file:/" only has one dash . as "http://" has two

1110319 2010-06-17 09:20:00 No, couldn't get it to work.
After several emails back & forth with the author I gave up.
I'm an old fart with fat fumbling fingers, so I was probably doing something wrong.
But I love new gadgets, so I've bought a iPad Andriod Tablet thingy off TM.
I'll play with that until the Apple Ipads come down in price.

1110320 2010-07-04 08:12:00 In case anyone is interested I did find this:

download.cnet.com

It works good once you learn how to use it. Files are quite large though 20-30mb
