1111769 2010-06-20 10:27:00 I am just about to put some games onto the auction site and did a bit of Wikipedia reading.

Are there any games from the 90s that are still being made today in a newer version?

Like .. Sim City, Civilisation, Ages of Empires, Myst, Command and Conqurer, the quest games .. .. .. ;)
I know Need for Speed is and Wolfenstein.

If they don't sell, eDay takes software right
Should I start auction at $1 or $5?
Got some device driver floppies and CDs give away too.

I will keep DOS 5 which is OEM anyway, Win3.1 and 95, Win2k and Office 2k :D

:)

1111771 2010-06-20 11:27:00 I read this and I though it would be in referance to games for the commodore 64 and sinclair spectrum :punk

Since its from the early days of Microsoft windows and a computer in every home then one I still like and has been modified to run on XP from its original win98 version is Birth of the Federations:nerd: is a strategy game and to be honest I can spend hours actual days/weeks trying to take over the galaxy I think I managed to get to move 556 before I reset because it was just prolonging the inevitable death of my empire :D

Very realaxing, requires brain power, noit speed and skill (till you get to the very high levels)

1111776 2010-06-23 05:26:00 I find word association games very relaxing and you don't need speed for that matter.

Such games may even help people with spelling.

I was going to mention this. I'm currently playing it (never played it till now but heard that it was one of the best PC games of all time), stills runs under XP pretty well. There is an Xcom fps due out soon.
