| 1110398 | 2010-06-16 02:30:00 | Silly article quotes 35m/bit minimum required for HD streaming video. AFAIK Bluray has a maximum bit-rate of 40 mbps while HD DVD offers a maximum of 28 mbps. I'm under the impression most Full HD streams are ~18 -> 20mbps? IIRC most streaming services offer 720p between 2.5 and 5m/bit? |
