I use Norton Ghost v15 to daily backup to an external HDD. At present it is scheduled for 8pm, but sometimes this is too early. I would like to schedule it later and have the computer close down on completion. I use WinXP. Is this possible? |

Changing the schedule time is easy enough, go to the Home Tab / Run or manage Backups / select the backup / Click Change Schedule and change to suit - as for the shutdown you can try what is Described here (community.norton.com). |

Thanks for the reply Wainuitech, I had a feeling that there would be an answer in .bat files or similar. I have printed the posts on the Norton forum and will try it. It is a log time since I seriously delved into such things in Dos, so I approach it with some trepidation. I will let you know what happens. |
