1113034 2010-06-24 05:39:00 I have not been able to access:
www.noaa.gov
for days, yet their IT people say others around the world are having no trouble.
I'm using Telstra Clear cable modem.
Would someone on Telecom please try it, so that I can see if Telstra is the culprit or if its an NZ problem.
Ta.

1113036 2010-06-24 05:54:00 Well, how about that!!
I have been checking the site every few hours for the last few days and getting nowhere, then I post here and it works immediately.

Maybe the SIS is monitoring this forum and got the shits when they saw my post, so they thought they'd better remove the block.

1113037 2010-06-24 06:06:00 But then, of course, if you had not posted here, it would still not be working. That's the way it works - that's life.:illogical Roscoe (6288)

Which DNS servers are you using?

.12 was rather flaky yesterday, and in my experience neither of those servers are great (although they usually work).

Do you have any better luck using 203.97.78.43 and 203.97.78.44 for DNS?
