This is pathetic as 'bk T' doubted that China was still communist so I suggested that he asked the guy that got jailed and you tell me I am ranting and then the twit calls him a criminal. Why don't you just get those rose tinted glasses off or if you like China so much you might consider immigrating there. I can certainly see a lot of faults in the capitalist system but while China had a truer communism than Russia there has never been anywhere with true communism and there won't be because of human nature. Oh China is definitely a Communist state and as you say its not "True" communism, but how much better is Capitalism ( US clearly not a democracy). 1. People jailed by "the good guys" in Guantanamo Bay for YEARS with no legal representation or chance to defend themselves. Lets not forget the documented torture. This is NOT ok in a Western democracy. 2. Patriot Act ( Gives US citizens basically the same rights as the Chinese), this act effectively turns the US into a China type communist state. CIA/FBI & others can grab you off the street and claim you are a terrorist for what ever reason and hold you indefinitely. Dont think its being abused? www.aclu.org By ALL means protest against China, BUT you should be equally bagging the US, otherwise you are cherry picking. I am not suggesting the Chinese system is good, just get annoyed at people being "selective" through ignorance. |
