Spies and sympathizers are generally shot by every side in a war (Britain shot spies sitting a chair in WW2) and in a civil war executions are par for the course I guess like the Spanish Civil war. |

I did miss it but I have read enough about McCarthy and co. Why don't you have a rant about that as well, to keep the balance?. You have been programmed all your life to believe Communism=bad Capitalism=good, you cant see the good and bad in both. This is pathetic as 'bk T' doubted that China was still communist so I suggested that he asked the guy that got jailed and you tell me I am ranting and then the twit calls him a criminal. Why don't you just get those rose tinted glasses off or if you like China so much you might consider immigrating there. I can certainly see a lot of faults in the capitalist system but while China had a truer communism than Russia there has never been anywhere with true communism and there won't be because of human nature. |

I have several friends currently residing in China and others who have moved to NZ from China - and all of them cannot believe the freedoms we enjoy and take for granted here. While they may not march around in public with giant red flags quoting Stalin/Lenin and being bastards like most people think commies are - they are most definitely not a democracy of any form - they are commies true to the heart. |

As for the media do you think the Chinese media is not biased considering it is controlled by the politburo. The unbiased journalists in commie china get little visits from the commie secret police at night and then get tortured. There are still some brave ones but they spend a lot of time in the clink. You cant have freedom of speech in one party state system like commie china, journos have to be suppressed. We will send them logs and wool and they can send us stuff to junk out our houses via the warehouse where every gets some junk. |
