Yes I have suffered other health effects from drinking those in the past - let's just say it involved an unsuccessful attempt to slide down a stairwell hand rail. :horrified

1112839 2010-06-25 02:32:00 I don't care how much fast food people eat as long they don't expect the tax payer to fund the stomach stapling and other health costs when they get too fat.

It is a shame, however, when children are brought up on unhealthy food and suffer for the rest of their lives because of it.

A very good argument to not have the health system funded by the tax payer.

However the fast food leads to stomach stapling and children being raised on unhealthy food arguments don't wash as reason to force people to eat what you want them to.

And the artificial sweetener they use in products like diet coke increases your appetite so may not be a lot better than sugar.
