1112827 2010-06-25 01:06:00 I'm waiting for someone to start the Coalition of Concerned Citizens Against Sausage Rolls. Then the people will finally rebel as you can't have a good morning tea without sausage rolls. Twelvevolts (5457)
1112828 2010-06-25 01:16:00 I work at Burger King....The food isn't actually that bad.
Chips are cooked in Canola oil, It's thoroughly drained. It's healthier than animal shortening too.
I laugh when people come in and order a "large drink" just so they can sit inside and load up on sugar though. They think they're cheating us, but BK is endorsed by Coke...we get it all for free...when you pay $3.10 for a large drink, you're paying for the cup...the cup that costs BK $0.03.
The burgers are fine too, it may look greasy, but it's flame grilled, the healthiest way to eat a disgustingly fatty burger imo.

1112829 2010-06-25 01:24:00 Does BK give you free burgers at the end of shift?
I worked in restaurant as a plater/ dish washer/meal deliverer the boss would let us cook some stuff to take home.

Nope, stingey if you ask me.
50% discount once per shift (unless it's longer than 10 hours).
20% discount any time, anywhere. (excluding meals already on special).

Quite likely the worst thing for your health in the place is the coke, although I haven't wasted any time researching that as been too busy drinking the stuff!!

Insert Rum into the Coke perhaps. I could never understand why my ex used Rum and Diet Coke when she was on a diet.

Lots more calories in Rum I suspect. :-)
