1112517	2010-06-22 23:14:00	Sticking to the OT Yes it does seem as if the Trade Balance with China has reversed, and we are now selling more to them than they are to us ! That is amazing when you consider the amount of Chinese stuff that is on sale here. They are buying more of our dairy, logs and wine. What amazes me is that whilst they have a huge and growing middle class that wants meat, and dairy products and wine etc, they do have a huge climate range and a huge land area with cheap labour to be able to grow all those things themselves. And of course there are the usual NZ traitors up there showing them how to grow kiwi fruit and improve their diary herds. So how long can it last ?	Digby (677)
1112518	2010-06-22 23:15:00	Why dont the Green party have a go at visiting American politicians for Guantanamo Bay, or the American Patriot Act (basically gives US citizens the same rights as Chinese citizens). At least they don't "pretend" to be a democracy like the US. I am not seeing a huge difference between the US and China accept China is a far more peaceful nation spending a tiny fraction of what the US spends on its military for world resource control. I am suggesting a lot kiwi 's are hypocrites and cherry pick who they get morally just over. I agree, +1 for you. A lot of people are fearful of a rising China, but its not as if China is going to go on a landgrab anytime soon, or spread their way of government the american way - with an assault rifle and precision guided weapons. On a side note, I was in China several months ago. There was no graffiti and people there said there is very little crime as there is a zero tolerance policy. Murderers are typically swiftly executed, not like here where the judge says things like 'if i had my way, I'd discharge you without conviction' to rapists. Cheers, yea you only need to look at the amount of countries the US has invaded in the last 100 years vs China and all of a sudden Chines looks very peaceful. Killing crooks isnt an atrocity the chinese method is cheaper than the usa method. 30 30 bullet more expensive than 9mm plus they used 4 of them plus the cost of the blank. The Indonesian method might be a good compromise for both of above. They just grab some of the army boys from the barracks, jump in a truck with the crook drive into the country. Tie the crook to a tree and shoot crook. Throw dead crook into the truck and drop his body off at the hospital morgue. Repeat offenders with this sentence is zero.	prefect (6291)

I'm pretty sure china has never used hostile military force or intelligence agencies to force regime/government change. I know the CIA has instigated coups on democratically elected governments. This is getting off topic, but I think they also take the organs where wealthy foreigners who dont want to wait in their own country's waiting lists, can come get a transplant. I remember there was a story in NZ media about a person in NZ who needed a new liver or something, so he or she (can't remember) went to China to get the operation done for cheap. She didn't care if the organs were taken from an executed convict without the convict's family's permission. I think there would have been more outrage in NZ media if they were taken from a white person, but I guess dead asians are fair game.	utopian201 (6245)

You can call us pakeha (maoris for pig), honkey, white trash no one will lift an eyelid.
