I would have no problems with downloading games quickly and saving money, I think that's a great idea.

But I would like it in the format of an ISO image or similar and not be forced to install Steam.

Bittorrent. All games. $0. No DRM\Steam rubbish. Even better.

1113910 2010-06-28 01:05:00 I wouldn't install Steam if the games were free :horrified Metla (12)

Hence why there is no money in PC games anymore. Some of us pay for stuff.

1113912 2010-06-28 03:38:00 There would be money if they didn't want to force people to install Steam.

I do actually buy games, and I have a large collection of legally purchased games, But I don't buy anything which forces me to install some crap like Steam.

I bought TrackMania United Forever from the UK because it was the non-Steam version.

They got my money because:
1) I think the game is worth buying, it's awesome
2) I did not have to install Steam.

Yes .
And Steam dictates not only the fact of having to have Steam, but whether or not you want it updated, the gane updated and then tell you how you may play as well .
F*** that .

1113915 2010-06-28 04:37:00 I love Steam, it makes it so much easier to manage my games library, plus all the related content etc, as well as organise multiplayer games. Most games have annoying DRM these days anyway, whether you use Steam or not. Pirating isn't the way. inphinity (7274)
